World Medicine

Medicine from everywhere.

Natural doesn't mean safe

Herbs can be strong medicines. Some damage the liver or kidneys, some are contaminated with heavy metals or hidden drugs, and many change how prescription medicines work. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every herbal product you take, and never stop a proven treatment (for example for HIV, TB, malaria, diabetes or cancer) in favour of a remedy.
