Privacy notice
This notice explains what CITADEL Corporation ("CITADEL", "we") collects when you use this website, Find Your Cure, the dashboard and the API, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Searches and briefs. The disease names you enter and the briefs the platform produces are stored so the agent can recall past runs. Please don't enter names, dates of birth or other personal or health details about yourself or anyone else.
- Ratings and notes you choose to submit on a brief.
- Contact messages. Your name, email, optional organization, topic and message when you use the contact form.
- Cure waitlist. Your email, the diseases you chose, and optionally your country and browser language, so we can email you about research progress. Nothing about your own health. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all emails for that disease.
- Symptom Checker. The symptoms you enter are processed to show matches and are not stored. Your symptom diary is kept only in your browser. If you choose "Share anonymously", we store the list of symptoms, your age band, region and the top match, with no name, email, free text or IP address.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information, such as IP address, time and page requested, to run and secure the service.
- Your theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your device only. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
To run the service, improve the quality of briefs, reply to messages, keep the platform secure, and meet legal obligations. We don't sell personal information.
Who processes it
- Vercel hosts the site and API.
- Neon hosts our Postgres database.
- OpenAI receives the disease name and the public records we retrieved, to rank candidates. Contact form details are never sent to OpenAI.
- Public data sources (NCBI PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, EMBL-EBI ChEMBL and UniProt) receive the search terms needed to answer your query.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up. Briefs are kept while they help improve the platform. You can ask us to delete your contact details at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to the laws that apply where you live. Contact us and we'll respond.
Children
The service isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date above.
